Tucanos: Bravo for this Brazilian Grill

tucanosTucanos offers churrasco-style dining. Meat servers deliver by the skewer to your table different meats, grilled parmesan crusted vegetables and caramelized grilled pineapple. A wide variety of delicious meats include brisket, garlic sirloin, sweet and sour chicken, smokin’ ribs, parmesan chicken and even chicken hearts (which I didn’t try, but my son loved them!).

Tucanos offers a wide variety of items on its cold salad bar including sushi, quail eggs, marinated mushrooms and much, much more. If you haven’t seen it yet, the salad bar is tremendous! (Definitely a can’t miss.)

The hot bar at Tucanos includes pasta with Alfredo and marinara sauce, mashed potatoes, rice, collard greens, soups and plenty more. The lobster bisque was by far the best I have had. And when dining there, you may visit the cold and hot bars as many times as you would like.

The unique atmosphere at Tucanos, as with traditional Brazilian steakhouses, involves meat servers continuing to visit your table with skewers of meat as long as your “cue” is in green position. Once you’ve had your fill, simply turn the cue card to the red position, thus alerting the servers that you’ll no longer want more meat.

Our experience at Tucanos was both pleasant and satisfying. Food was wonderful and I have visited many times since. It’s another unique dining experience right here in Fort Wayne.
