About Kathy

What Does Art Mean to You?

Art is such an open door for expression. It’s my escape to create something on canvas and brings me such joy to put paint to canvas!

What is your favorite medium?

I love to work in watercolor and acrylics.

Where do you prefer to work on your art?

I would love to be outdoors when I paint but I normally use my kitchen counter and often paint late at night into the wee hours of the morning; that’s when the creativity really gets going!

What inspires you most?

What inspires me most is an inner desire to design, create and put things together that are pleasing to my eye. I often find inspiration in magazines and beauty in nature.

Who is/are you biggest supporters?

My biggest supporters are my friends and family— a few of whom are artists themselves.
