meridian“Meridian” by Soil and the Sun Why? the Soil and the Sun is a band out of Grand Rapids, Mich. and can best be described as playing dreamy orchestral and unpredictable modern folk rock. Their third album, “Meridian,” includes a broad range of styles and moods, inundating the senses with layers of carefully arranged guitars, accordion, percussion, keys, oboe, violin and, of course, vocals.
