If anyone should write a book about leadership it probably should be Mark Becker. Currently, Becker is the President/CEO of Greater Fort Wayne Inc. He serves as the voice of business and the single point of contact for economic growth in Fort Wayne and Allen County. His journey to this position includes an 11 year tenure for four mayors, and 11 years in economic and community development with the chamber, NIPSCO, and the Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership. Becker has also mentored many bright, younger people during his career. “I have done my best to encourage and share perspective with them, particularly to be true to their personal goals and not be afraid to step out of their comfort zone,” says Becker. “I am proud of the work and contributions these people make in our community.” Who has inspired him most? “My wife, Cheri, with her incredible energy, and my mother and grandmothers!”
