glo and Two EE’s Winery present “Wine, Women & Wellness”

Come party at glo magazine’s premier event! Wine, Women and Wellness will be held at Two EE’s Winery in Huntington on Thursday, Aug. 7. This is an open house style event. Come any time between 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. for wine tastings, appetizers, entertainment, fashion show, exhibits, door prizes and more. The best part? Tickets are completely free!

“Lynn Keefer, glo sales representative, and Emily Hart from Two EE’s came up with the idea to host a glo event at the Winery in August. It has been fun planning and implementing the event for our advertisers and readers,” said Kim Gross, glo plublication manager.

“The staff of glo magazine are so excited to show our readers and friends a great time at the beautiful Two EE’s Winery,” said Rebekah Whirledge, glo’s editor. “Ladies can relax in the winery’s beautiful courtyard with a glass of wine while listening to some music, find out more about our community partners, take a winery tour and even nab one of many of the impressive door prizes being offered throughout the day.”

Opened in July 2013, Two-EE’s has won numerous awards for its wines and winemaking. The winery is located at 6808 N. US 24 E in Huntington, and is owned by Eric Harris and Emily Hart. For more information, visit http://www.twoees.com.

Wine tastings and tours will be offered all day. Ladies can enjoy their wine, as well as complimentary appetizers provided by Don Hall’s Restaurant, inside the winery or outside in the spacious courtyard. Music will be provided all day by Dr. Feelgoods, local deejay.

Booths will be set up with more information about glo’s local community partners: American Cancer Society, Francine’s Friends, Big Brothers Big Sisters, American Heart Association, Women United, YWCA and CASA. One of those partners, Fort Wayne’s Dress For Success, along with Carson’s department store, will be hosting two fashion shows at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. Dress for Success, a program of the Fort Wayne Women’s Bureau, provides complimentary business attire for under-privileged women in our community. Tickets are required to attend this event and must be presented at the door. Attendance is limited.

Tickets are free, but must be requested. Request forms are available through July 31 at the event’s exclusive ticket outlet: Massage Envy Spa, located at Pine Valley Crossing, 1125 E. Dupont Road (next to Peter Franklin Jewelers) and at 6409 W. Jefferson Blvd. (between Chop’s and Stein Mart).
