About Emily:

Emily Blossom“I have been exploring different artistic mediums for as long as I can remember. I’ve dabbled in everything from painting to sculpture to photography to graphic design and most recently sewing! Art has always been a dominant part of my life. I studied graphic design in college, then worked as a graphic designer and art director for 10 years. In 2012, my husband and I were blessed with our daughter, Betty. She is my best creation. Since Betty’s birth, I have been a stay-at-home-mom and my art has taken a more kid-friendly turn. These days, I make and sell colorful aprons for kids and moms through my Etsy shop, Emilyokids. I hand-make and sell various styles, creating all of the patterns myself. I’ve experienced some unexpected success and am learning more about sales and marketing. It’s been an amazing new adventure! I am grateful and proud to be selected as a member of Glo Magazine’s female artists.

Emily’s Favorite Part of glo magazine?: “My favorite part of glo magazine is the covers! I love seeing all of the different styles and artists in our region. I get excited when I see a new cover on newsstands.”
