Chop’s Steak and Seafood

It was a glorious morning and the Divas thought it would be fun to take in an estate sale and we did. Sandy purchased a sapphire ring and I purchased a black enameled pendant watch on an enamel 18 inch long chain that dated 1930’s vintage.

We stopped at a jewelers and he told us both were authentic, and the watch still keeps accurate time. We were both were elated and saw it was time for lunch and a celebratory drink. So, where else but Chop’s Steak and Seafood? This beautiful restaurant was suggested for us to try by the staff of glo and are we glad we did.

The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Natalie was our server and very informed with what was on the menu. We chose an appetizer of deep fried walleye fingers served with a delicious red sauce, which was both sweet and tangy. Sandy ordered the chicken BBQ salad and said it was wonderful. I had the Italian Tuscany bean soup which was absolutely wonderful. Along with that, I ordered a Philly spinach wrap covered in cheese sauce. This wrap was enormous, so Sandy and I shared it.

We also were presented with a basket of fresh bread, which we enjoyed with our glasses of wine.

The presentation of our meal was lovely and plated with great eye appeal. Awesome job by the chef!

The decor is tastefully done. The dining room has just enough colorful art work on the walls while the seating area is somewhat dark and subdued and absolutely gorgeous. Everyone was warm, friendly and having a wonderful time.

Will the Divas return to Chop’s? Of course we will and hope to see you there!
