Do a quick search of leadership in Fort Wayne and you will undoubtedly run across Cheri Becker. Becker has been director of the Leadership Fort Wayne program since 2009, and most recently became V.P. of Leadership Development and Community Engagement for Greater Fort Wayne Inc. “I have been blessed to work with really great individuals who share the same passion that I have for our community,” she says. Becker has worked with many younger people during her career who have given back equally in inspiration. “I don’t think any one person influences me more than another. I try to learn from everyone I meet,” adds Becker. “I think we all have gifts and insights to share with each other. As I’ve gotten older I reflect more on being the type of person people like to be around and work with. I pray for grace and humility, to understand, accept and to be accepted and understood.”
